for taking so long to update.
Today I want to talk about a 35 year old man who I'll call Maurice.
Now I use the term "man" loosely because of an incident which everyone
I know from Texas to floyds knobs has heard about. The infamous
calling of 911 for a stalled vehicle. Maurice's car quit running on
the on ramp from 265 to 64. He thought to himself, "I'm a man and I'm
gonna take care of this without bugging my friends for help." so he
called 911, and I remind you the car wasn't even on fire or upside
down in a river. He then sat there for 1 1/2 hours with his seatbelt
on and watching his rearview mirror, certain that someone would come
down the onramp and rearend him. 1 1/2 hours!
Luckily the officer who arrived, and somehow managed to not use his
blackjack on Maurice, had a list of tow trucks to call. Sigh....
Emergency handled.
Hey, do you think Maurice's insurance has tow coverage? I bet it did.
Deloris wouldn't send him out into the big bad world without the best
possible coverage. To bad he didn't think to call them first.
